The Tour

Charter tours, available 360 days a year, may be scheduled from the departure point of your choice.

Scheduled public tours depart at 1:30 pm from the DoubleTree Hotel at Lloyd Center, 1000 NE Multnomah Boulevard, Portland, just south of Lloyd Center.

Our tour bus will take you around Portland to three or four breweries, where you can have samples of 15-25 different fresh beers.  Our on-board guide gives a fun, educational tour of Portland, the history of craft brewing, and more.  You'll receive a Personal Sampling Scorecard to help you keep track of the all the beers you like, and a souvenir Diploma from the “College of Brew Knowledge.” Can you pass the test?

Expose yourself to Better Beer! You'll learn about different styles of beer (ales, lagers, porters, stouts etc.).  Learn of local world records and "Oregon Firsts," find out why Portland is the home of craft brewing.  Find out why local ingredients (hops, grains, water, yeast and malt) are so important to the taste and quality.

Please, for health and safety on the brewery tour, no open-toed sandals or shoes.
