Great News!!!

I just received written confirmation from the IRS that they have accepted
our application for 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. The effective date of
the exemption is from October 21, 2004.  Please get out the news in the
newsletter or a general email broadcast.

CHALLENGE GRANT! We have formed a non-profit corporation for the class (Cupertino '64 Foundation), and two of our classmates have issued a $3000 challenge to raise money to support the website and facilitate future reunions. Their gifts depend on the rest of the class donating a matching amount. Go to Donations to find out more.

Jim has opened a Foundation Account with Bank of the West in Cupertino. Checks should be sent to his office made payable to the Cupertino 64 Foundation
