The Leedy Grange Hall is no longer available for private parties.For other uses, please fill out our form and let us know what your event or meeting is, and we will get back to you. NOTE: no alcohol is allowed inside or on the grounds of the Grange Hall—this is a national Grange policy, no exceptions! If we find evidence of alcohol use, we will keep your cleaning deposit and suspend your right to rent the hall in the future. We require the cleaning deposit ($250) and an insurance rider*** at the time of rental, and payment when the rental is done. Once your rental has been approved, you should print and fill out the Rental Documents (right sidebar) and submit the forms, your insurance rider document, and the check for the cleaning deposit at least two weeks before your rental to ensure your reservation. We will cash the deposit check at that time. We will refund the deposit if the hall is in the same condition as when you rented it and we find no evidence of violations of our terms. A few days before your rental, we'll meet you at the hall to give you instructions on doors, heat, etc. and we will then lend you the key. When your rental is finished, we'll arrange to meet and inspect the hall. We will collect the payment for your rental at that time. (Normally, if everything is in order, we will give you a check for the difference between your deposit and the rental cost.) *Cleaning deposit refunded if Hall is in the same condition or better than when it was rented. **Not-for-profit rate applies to community groups, non-profits and other community-benefit organizations and activities (IRS non-profit not required) that are consistent with Grange values. Not all “501” organizations qualify. Contact us for more information. ***Insurance rider, also called “Additional Named Insured,” in the amount of $1 million, is required to protect the hall during the time you are using it. Contact your homeowners' insurance provider for information. These are usually not very expensive, around $50 for “invitation-only” events. Public event insurance often runs around $300. We need to have a document specifically listing Leedy Grange Hall and the date(s) of the rental. Questions? AmenitiesSeating: We have 47 metal folding chairs that can be used in the main hall or the dining room. There are a number of wooden benches around the perimiter of the main hall, they may be moved to form theater-type seating around the stage. There are a number of wooden chairs in our storage area (30-40) that may only be used in the dining hall. Tables: We have 18 8-foot-long plastic utility tables. They may be used in both the main and dining hall. We strongly prefer that food and drinks not be served or consumed in the main hall. Exceptions by prior arrangement only. Kitchen: our kitchen includes a triple sink, a normal home-type stove and refrigerator, and a grill top. You may use them during your rental but must bring all your own utensils. We do have large coffee percolators and a water jug you may use. You must clean the kitchen thoroughly and take all your trash with you. Technology: We do now have wi-fi. Let us know if you want the password when you rent the space. We have NO sound equipment or any other A/V equipment. Parking: there is adequate parking just outside the hall. Additional parking in the Thriftway lot and across the street. Handicapped access: the front door of the hall is accesible via a ramp. All rooms are on the same level. The restrooms are not ADA but are usually adequate. Cleaning supplies and equipment: we have brooms, mops etc. and you may use our cleaning supplies.
