Q: Please.... A: No, no, no -- you can not have an extension. The deadline is August 13th at 5 p.m. Q: Where do I deliver the work? A: 511 SW 10th Ave, Ste 1308. We are in the Medical-Dental building, kitty corner from the Galleria, down the street from the Governor Hotel & Jake's. Q:How can I get an entry form/rules? A: Call 224-2623 or print the form on this site. Q: What are the dates of eligibility? A: Any advertisement created and/ or produced in Oregon (and Clark County) and published, posted or aired for the first time between August 30, 1998 and August 13, 1999 is eligible. Q: What are the categories? A: Categories are listed on the Call To Entry page. Q: Why are radio entries due early, on July 23rd? A: We want to give the judges a chance to hear the radio entries as they are intended to be heard, one on one, so we compile the entries on a CD and send them to the judges 2 weeks ahead of the general judging. Q: How do you pick judges? Where are they from? A: The judges are picked through suggestions from the previous years' judges, other ad clubs and award shows and from suggestions that we receive throughout the year from our members. Q: Is the Rosey show judged nationally or locally (compared to other national ads or just to local ads)? A: The Roseys are judged on a national level, we instruct the judges to consider it a National show and judge accordingly. Q: How is the judging done? A: The judging takes place through a silent judging performed in a weekend. See the CTE for more info. Q: Are all the entries displayed? A: Yes all the entries are displayed at the Rosey Award Show, November 19th. Q: How long is the show? A: The show lasts about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Q: Where and when is the event? A: The Roseys will be held at the Portland Marriott on Friday evening, November 19th. The award ceremony will be followed by a dance featuring Lily Wilde and her Swingin' Boyfriends, a six-piece swing combo. Q: Can I enter work in more than one category? A: Yes you can enter a piece or series in more than one category, but each piece needs a separate entry form and separate fee. Q: When can I buy tickets? A: Tickets will be available for purchase mid October and are available for individual purchase or you can buy 10 seats at a table. They will be available from the website and by phone or mail. |
