  1. Create all the frames in Photoshop or another image editing package. Save them as gifs. (No other format will work.) You might want to name them foo1.gif, foo2.gif etc.
  2. Open GifBuilder or another gif animation utility. Load all the frames (command-K).
  3. Select all frames and give them the desired properties (looping, interframe delay, etc.)
  4. Preview your animation (command-R). Make any necessary changes.
  5. Save your animation with a different name, such as fooanim.gif
  6. That’s it. To use it on a page, simply place it as you would with any other image
