- Create all the frames in Photoshop or another image
editing package. Save them as gifs. (No other format will work.) You
might want to name them foo1.gif, foo2.gif etc.
- Open GifBuilder or another gif animation utility.
Load all the frames (command-K).
- Select all frames and give them the desired properties
(looping, interframe delay, etc.)
- Preview your animation (command-R). Make any necessary
changes.
- Save your animation with a different name, such
as fooanim.gif
- That’s it. To use it on a page, simply place
it as you would with any other image
