Still love to dance, enjoy all people for who they are, still on my soapbox! How are you different? I'm much more out going, not shy anymore. My world has really opened up, I have many, many interests and not enough time. What is your proudest accomplishment? Where do you live? house in the country Parents: Father: deceased, Mother: living What have you been up to for the last 40 years? Married classmate Steve Runner in Sept.65,while we were students at Foothill, and he was working for IBM.Three months later he joined the Air Force,so we traveled for almost 4 years...except when he was in Viet Nam(where he was awarded the Air Force Medal of Commendation). Our daughter was born 1 year after his return, at Davis Mauthon Air Force Base in Tucson,AZ. We returned to Campbell,CA finished school and raised our child. Steve worked for IBM and the Cupertino School Dist. I worked for O'Connor Hospital and then was a Manager for a OB/GYN & Surgeon in San Jose... Then we decided to move to the peaceful world of the far Northern CA. We live in a beautiful canyon between Chico & Paradise 9 miles inside the canyon. Big Butte Creek runs behind our backyard. The sound of the water rushing is so relaxing. We have both are charter members of the Volunteer Fire Company, we have built 2 fire stations .I am on the board for the Historic Honey Run Covered Bridge, we published a small newsletter for the fire company too. Steve was layleader of our church for 8 years so that kept us very busy, yes he still sings, and was in a Christian Rock band for several years, but his heart is really in the choir and he is a cantor for the Taize'services. Our daughter and her family live near Sacramento so we see her often. I spent the last 3 years as a cargiver for Steve's mother in our home. She had Alzheimer's, sadly, we lost her to Pneumonia a few months ago. We are now trying to get adjusted to just the two of us again. I have returned to work for 5 more years, then we retire. Steve has a State committee meeting the same weekend as the reunion so I don't think we will make it...the meeting is in Santa Cruz so there may still be a way...we will miss seeing you if we can't work it out.Have fun for us!
