What have you been up to for the last 45 years?
I'm retired, or trying to be, I volunteer when possible.
I play duplicate bridge mostly at the San Jose bridge center, and tournaments around the U.S.A.
My husband Larry hated retirement (35 years with H.P.) so he called up some friends and found a job in a field he loves ( machinist). He also is teaching nites at Dea Anza Community College, (20 years).
We travel when we can and just put 6,000 miles on our 5th wheel travel trailer. This year we went to Wisconson to the EAA (fly-in), it was fun to see all the people, new planes and far out flying inventions.
We like to watch dirt track car racing,and if possible follow the OUTLAW sprint car circuit.
I enjoy gardening, I'm just getting started in refurbishing my yard, 29 years at this location so it's time for new landscaping.
I still enjoy reading but find my time is limited so now quick romance novels are right up my line of intrest.
Our two children still live in the area, Trica (34) and Jason (28) drop around to let us know what going on in their world. Larry's parents live 3 hours way, we still try to see them for holidays, when they are in town, they travel almost as much as we do.
Our next trip is Alaska, this time no cruise but a trip on the ferry system with backpacks.
