What have you been up to for the last 40 years?
After, high school attended Foothill CC for one year. August 1965 enlisted in the Army. Spent 15 months in Germany with the 793rd MP BN. From June 67 to June 68 was in Vietnam with the 1st CAV division. Awarded the Bronze Star for valor for action in Vietnam. In addition I was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, and three battle stars.
In 1968, I returned to civilian life and went to DeAnza CC and San Jose State. Received a BS in Accounting in 1972.
From 1972 thru 1977 worked as a tax auditor for the State of California
.In 1977 moved to Idaho and operated a sporting goods until 1979.
In 1979 went to work for Boise Cascade corporation. Spend three years in the Internal Audit Department. In 1982 became the Idaho Region Controller in the Timber and Wood operations. I was in this position from 1982 thru 1997. In 1997 became the manager of the company's financial systems. I worked in this position until I retired on December 31, 2003.
I am a Certified Internal Auditor, Certifed Fraud Examiner, and Certified Public Accountant.
Now I am enjoying the freedom of doing whatever I want. Golf 3 to 4 days a week. Spend a little going to Reno, Tahoe, or Jackpot to play the games of chance. Enjoy visiting my children and grandchildren.
I coached baseball for 20 years from Little League to Legion ball. It is nice to have kids that you coached over the years to still remember you.
