What have you been up to for the last 45 years?

I graduated from San Jose State University in June 1969, BS degree in Industrial Technology. After graduation, I worked as an engineering designer with an aerospace firm in Los Angeles. While there, I worked on the design of a space suit that was worn by the Apollo astronauts.

In the fall, I was a winner in the 1969 Draft Lottery and was selected to join the Army the following May. I was stationed with Headquarters and Headquarters Company US Army Garrison, Fifth US Army, at Fort Riley, Kansas. I worked in G3/Directorate of Plans, Training and Mobilization at Post Headquarters.

After my Army discharge, I returned to San Jose and went into the semiconductor industry as an integrated circuit layout designer. I attended Foothill College to study semiconductors and graduated in June 1989, AS degree in Semiconductor Processing.

One of my goals in life was to learn how to dance and finally took dance lessons in the early 1980's. I danced on the 50's Dance Party on KOFY, television channel 20, for two years, and got my "15 minutes of fame." People would tell my parents and myself that they saw me dancing on television. Also, it was interesting to see how a television program is produced. I spend my free time learning new ballroom dance steps and have made friends with people who also enjoy ballroom dancing.

Still live in the same neighborhood I grew up in (why leave God's country) and every time I drive by Cupertino High School it's hard to believe so many years have passed since graduation. Joined the Reunion Committee to help with finding classmates, planning and getting publicity out about the 40th Class Reunion. I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.
